About Me 

Hi I am Kieran Murphy , I am 16 years old and I am from Cork. I grew up with an artistic influence from my grandmother and mother who were both very artsy. I am a former student of Mary Murphy , who is a fantastic artist that I drew lots of inspiration from. I had my first exhibition that was shared when I was 13 and I had my first individual exhibition soon after I turned 16 in Camden Fort Meagher. Before I hosted any exhibition I was using my art to fundraise for the #noincinerator cause. I was very lucky to have the late Colm O' Connell ex 103FM act as my mentor and patron. I really started to explore in art when lockdown hit in 2020, I started using pencil as my main medium during this time but I soon developed a taste for painting , specifically acrylic painting which is now my main medium
